In addition to connecting Omkareshwar in Mandhata, Mahakaleshwar in Ujjain and Kashi Vishwanath in Varanasi, it will also connect other historical, religious, and cultural cities in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh such as Prayagraj (Allahabad), Lucknow, Kanpur, Jhansi, Bina, Sant Hiradnagar and Ujjain.
Kashi Mahakal Express train, which was started with the aim of promoting religious tourism, will also offer Mahakal Express tour packages, allowing passengers to visit various pilgrim destinations along the way. Ticket reservations can only be done online on the IRCTC website and its mobile application “IRCTC Rail Connect”. Online booking for Kashi Mahakal Express train will have a 120 day booking period. There will be no concession of any kind, while tickets for children under 5 will not be required.
Passengers will be able to see the current status of the reservation after the preparation of the first graph, which can vary from 4 hours to 5 minutes before the scheduled departure of the train. Each passenger will also be covered with complimentary travel insurance of Rs 10 lakh during the journey. In the event that the train is canceled for any reason, passengers will be entitled to an automatic refund.
