We were excited when we arrived in Panchkula. We wanted to explore the city’s culture together. But, finding the best places for couples to visit in Panchkula took time. 

We researched online, but the information was generic. So, we decided to find a hidden couple of spots in Panchkula. 

We researched, explored beautiful places, and talked to other people who love romance. We made a guide to help others find these unique spots easily. 

You and your partner can have a romantic moment you will never forget. We found lakeside parks, cozy cafes, zoos, riverboats, and stunning viewpoints with unforgettable sunsets.

Places To Visit For Couples In Panchkula

1. Morni Hills

Morni Hills is a hill station near Chandigarh, about 45 km from Panchkula. It is the only hill station in Haryana, India. 

Many people overlook this place and go to other popular destinations. But if you like exploring new places, you should visit Morni Hills-Tikkar Tal. 

It is 3600 feet above sea level and has a variety of plants and animals. The best reason to visit is to escape the city and enjoy the peaceful hilly surroundings, including Tikkar Tal Lake. 

It’s an excellent place for a picnic with friends and family. Besides the natural beauty, there are also boating and adventurous activities like mountain climbing, rope climbing, and trekking. 

Morni Hills is a perfect weekend getaway from Chandigarh with lots of greenery.

2. Pinjore Gardens – Places To Visit For Couples In Panchkula

Pinjore Gardens is a Mughal Garden in India, located in Pinjore, Panchkula, Haryana. It is a large garden spanning 100 acres, providing a peaceful escape from the city. 

The garden, called Yadvinder Garden, is well-known for its beautiful plants, fountains, and water features. People worldwide come to see the Mughal design that India has proudly preserved.

Pinjore Gardens in India are an example of terrace gardens. They host the annual Mango Festival during Baisakhi from April to June. 

The Gardens have beautiful plants, a mini zoo, historic areas, a Japanese garden, a nursery, and picnic spots. It is suitable for both kids and adults. 

Some believe that the Pandava brothers stayed here during their exile. The best time to visit is in the evening when the garden is illuminated, creating a different atmosphere.

3. Cactus Garden

The Cactus Garden in Panchkula is a beautiful oasis in Haryana that attracts visitors from far away. It has over 3,500 different types of cacti and succulents. 

The garden feels like a different world with unique plants that can survive in dry conditions. The Cactus Garden has a variety of plants with different shapes, sizes, and colors. 

There are tall saguaros with arms reaching towards the sky and small barrel cacti that look like pillows. As you walk through the garden, you will find surprises like colorful flowers on prickly stems or patterns made by clusters of spines.

4. Garden of Silence – Places To Visit For Couples In Panchkula

The Garden of Silence is a peaceful place in Chandigarh, India. It has a seated Buddha surrounded by circular stairs. 

The Ministry of Tourism funds the garden developed by the Chandigarh administration. It is a quiet place away from the busy Lake promenade. 

The garden is open from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Many people come here to meditate and relax. 

It is also famous for photography and pre-wedding shoots. The garden is well-maintained and has a peaceful atmosphere.

5. Ramgarh fort

Ramgarh Fort is an old fort in Ramgarh, Haryana, India. The Pathans built it in the 17th century. 

The fort is on a hill and has a good view of the area. It is a square fort with four towers at each corner. 

The walls are made of stone and are about 10 meters high. There are many gates, including the main entrance on the east side. 

The Rohillas used the fort as a military base until the 19th century. Then, the British took it over and used it as a prison. 

In the late 19th century, the fort became a hotel. Today, it is a popular tourist spot. 

It is well-preserved and gives a great view of the area. The fort is open and can be visited for a fee. 

Inside the fort is a museum displaying artifacts from its history. Additionally, there is a restaurant and a bar. 

The fort is a beautiful place to learn about the region’s history and enjoy the stunning views.

6. Nada Sahib

Nada Sahib is a Sikh temple in the Panchkula district of Haryana, India. The Ghaggar-Hakra River is located in the Sivalik foothills. 

It is a well-known religious site for Sikhs. Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth guru, stayed here after the Battle of Bhangani in 1688. 

The original building was replaced with a two-story dome structure and a large meeting hall. There is a courtyard, a Langar (community kitchen), and rooms for pilgrims. 

A tall flag stands in the courtyard near the old shrine. Religious gatherings and meals happen daily. Many people celebrate full moon days. 

Nada Sahib is a popular tourist spot to learn about Sikhism and enjoy nature.

7. Chokhi Dhani

Chokhi Dhani is a village near Panchkula on Highway NH22. It showcases the art and culture of rural Rajasthan. 

It has traditional mud houses and serves authentic Rajasthani food. The village is beautiful, peaceful, and a great escape from city life. 

They also organize folk dance and song performances by local artists to promote local art. The village is decorated with handcrafted items and has modern amenities for comfort. 

Visitors can also enjoy activities like horse rides, camel rides, and bullock cart rides.

8. Chattbir Zoo

Chattbir Zoo is a zoo in Zirakpur, near Chandigarh, India. It covers 202 acres and has over 1,241 animals, such as lions, tigers, elephants, giraffes, and rhinoceroses. 

It was created in 1977 and named after Mahendra Chaudhary, the former Chief Minister of Punjab. The zoo is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and costs INR 80 for adults and INR 50 for children to enter.

9. Gurudwara Toka Sahib

Gurudwara Toka Sahib is a Sikh temple in Toka, Haryana, India. Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh guru, stayed there for 12 days in 1688, which is historically significant.

The temple is by the Ghaggar River and has a two-story building with a dome. Inside, paintings and murals are showing the life and teachings of Guru Gobind Singh. 

Sikhs from around the world visit the temple as a pilgrimage. Tourists also come because of its beautiful location. 

Gurudwara Toka Sahib is a sacred place for Sikhs to worship and learn about their faith. It reminds them of Guru Gobind Singh’s bravery and sacrifice.
