In light of the closure due to the outbreak of the pandemic, Coronavirus / Covid-19, the opening dates for Badrinath and Kedarnath Yatra 2020 have been changed for Chardham Yatra 2020 in Uttarakhand.
To decide on the new portal opening dates, a meeting was held. The State Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj then announced the new opening date for Badrinath on May 15, 2020. The portals of the sanctuary will open at 4:30 a.m.
The opening date of the Kedarnath Temple will be announced on Tuesday, April 21. The temple is expected to open on May 14, 2020.
